We bought a ten share starter position in TLT, as discussed earlier. No additions will be made right now, but this is a long term holding and additions are certain.
Personal Note: I made the decision to get the MonkeyPox vaccine last Tuesday. I have experienced the worst degree of every side effect listed: headaches, fatigue, dizziness, not getting to sleep, and Worst of all I got some sort of bronchial infection. This has been a horrific experience, now going into the 6th day. Of course being over 70 probably does not help: I know younger people are not having serious problems.
Bottom Line: We have been holding positions all year…….and adding bond positions. It still appears a recession is coming and we will most likely see rates decline.
We are watching this Corporate Bond from Main St Capital. CUSIP: 56035LAD6. Coupon 5.2%. Mature 5-1-24. Hopefully the price will come down.
